A lot of Great games came out this year but also a lot of super crappy ones. I will here are my pics as well as picks from others
Best: Borderlands 2 - With the great play time, lots of guns and amazing commentary this by far has been my favorite this year.
Mass Effect 3 - This is all very story drive and great character type another great one to pick up
Trials Evolution - Awesome, fun and tricky all at the same time - From Pastemagazine.com "It’s you, your bike, and a track. Couldn’t be simpler, right? Wrong. Trials Evolution is a sadistic bitch of a game, forcing players to earn every inch of progress. Reaching the finish line is a feat in itself. With no faults, at a gold medal time? “Trial” is an understatement.—Mitch Krpata"
The Walking Dead - The game is so different in how it plays and how it looks. If you are a Walking Dead Fan like me this will fit right in and you can't beat the price
From Pastemagazine.com "Telltale’s The Walking Dead is one of the best licensed games of all time because of the way it re-creates the pacing and feel of the comic series. It’s heavy on character interaction and suspense, like the comic and show, and light on puzzles and item hunting. Action sequences are spread out; this is not Left 4 Dead or Dead Island but a character-driven game with action elements only added in when completely necessary. Think of The Walking Dead as Maniac Mansion and a poor man’s version of Heavy Rain put into a blender containing 10 or 15 issues of Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard’s comic—a nice mix, especially for the episode price of $4.99."
Now the Worst - If you following the gaming industry you can see how one bad game can sometimes kill your company. I just hope none of these did
Steel Battallion: Heavy Armor
As we have talked on the show non of us have been very enthusiastic with the Kinect. We had hoped this game would redeem it. Nope it just proved to me at least that unless you want to Dance badly you will not find anything good for the Kinect. It could not follow your movements, like trying to open anything child-proof it was an exercise in frustration.
Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified for Vita
Black Ops has been a great game the sequel being even better Black Ops II had $1 Billion dollars in sales as of Dec. 5th. Thank god the version for the Vita wasn't the main game. Small maps bad re-spawning and and single player mission that took less than an hour to play it not helping put the Vita in hands of adults.
Dishonorable mention
Kinect Star Wars
Words cannot describe I'll let this video explain
